Event Description:
2019 Hunt VFD “Beast Blast” Fundraiser Hunt Volunteer Fire Department members will host the annual Hunt VFD “Beast Blast” Fundraiser on Saturday April 6th, 2019. The doors of the newly remodeled Hunt VFD Main Station will open at 11am. Come early, bring your friends and family, and get a great seat for the festivities. Tasty beef and chicken fajitas, fixings, vegetables and desserts will be served starting at 11am until the food is gone. The 2019 “Beast Blast” Fundraiser will feature a live radio broadcast and music by JAM Broadcasting http://jambroadcasting.net. In addition, the event will feature both live and silent auctions and door prizes, as well as static displays, fire trucks, and firefighting equipment. This will be a high energy, fun event for the entire family. The purpose of this Hunt VFD Fundraiser is to have a family friendly, fun and educational afternoon, and to raise funds for the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department operations, training, equipment and for our new substation. We are in the initial stages of building a Hunt VFD substation five miles west of Hunt on Hwy 39 on property provided by Camp Mystic. A number of Hunt VFD responders live miles to the west of Hunt on Hwy 39. This new substation station, equipped with two emergency response vehicles, will enable firefighters to respond much more quickly to protect our neighbors on the South Fork of West Kerr County. You're generous donations will help build the “South Fork Substation.” For more information, visit the Hunt VFD Facebook page; For more about JAM Broadcasting, go to:
