Lee Ricks Outdoor Watercolor Workshop On location at The Neunhoffer Ranch in Kerrville, Texas Preceding Kerrville Outdoor Painters’ Event (KOPE) 2017 October 2nd-3rd, 2017  9:00am-4:00pm $220 per student This workshop will be on location at Neunhoffer Ranch in Kerrville, Texas. Students will meet at the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center on day one at 8:30am. From there, students will caravan to the Neunhoffer Ranch. The workshop will begin with a demonstration by Lee, then each student will be given individualized instruction each day as they work on their paintings. Lee is an award winning South Texas artist with a love of the beauty of nature. He has a respect for and interest in the older things and people that are vanishing daily from our modern world. A native of Pleasanton, Lee is a 1957 graduate of U.T. Austin with a BS in Art. While there he was an illustrator and Art Editor for the Texas Ranger magazine. After 35 years as an independent businessman, in 1993 he turned his full attention to his first love and second career: Art. Watercolor is Lee’s medium of choice. Favorite subjects are the old West, Southwest and Mexico landscapes, coastal scenes, and the old colonial buildings of Mexico and Europe. He is a signature member of the Texas Watercolor Society. His painting travels have taken him over much of Europe and Mexico. Lee is a past president and current treasurer of the Texas Watercolor Society. www.texaswatercolorsociety.org.
