Dr. Matthew Lambiase graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut, receiving his Bachelor of Science. He was selected as a Phi Beta Kappa. He attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Lambiase entered active duty service with the United States Army and completed his internship at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA. From there he served as a General Medical Officer for troops stationed at Camp Carroll in the village of Waegwan, South Korea. Returning to the States, his residency training in dermatology was received at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Lambiase served as Chief dermatologist at Darnall Army Community Hospital, Fort Hood TX, and as Chief of dermatology for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss TX. Dr. Lambiase achieved the rank of Major. His military honors include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.
Dr. Lambiase is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Dermatology and Texas Medical Association.
