Gifts of the Season: A Holiday Miniature Show and Sale to open in November

The Museum of Western Art is hosting its second annual miniature show and sale and artists are invited to submit works for it.

Gifts of the Season: A Holiday Miniature show and Sale will open on November 6 and will remain on view through December 29th, 2018. Artists are welcome to submit up to five (5) works of any medium. The individual pieces may not exceed 14 inches in any one direction (this includes frame, matting, etc.). Please keep the longest dimension, be that width or height, under 14 inches. We ask that work be priced at or below $500, with artists receiving 65% of the sale price. We’d love to see your holiday spirit, but any subject matter that fits within the western theme is welcome. This is an open call, so feel free to encourage others to submit.

We ask that all accepted artwork be delivered by Halloween. Please send image submissions with title, size, medium and price by October 16th.

This exhibition was a huge hit last winter and we hope to repeat that success.
