Event Description:
The Doyle School Community Center will honor celebrated musician Alfredo “Fritz” Morquecho on July 27th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  “Fritz Morquecho was inducted into the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame Museum in Alice, Texas in 2016,” said Doyle’s Clifton Fifer.  “His contributions to music history in Texas are legendary and we hope that people will come out and join us to celebrate  with a night of good food, good music and great memories.”
 
The evening will begin with a song from a Kerrville favorite, Ashley Valero, a proclamation from Mayor Judy Eychner and include Mariachi music, a special Cumbia dance presentation and include music by Danny Flores, Lee Haile, E.C. Wilmon and Greg Bitkower accompanying Mr. Morquecho.  “The Doyle Community has a rich Hispanic heritage,” said Fifer.  “This will be a wonderful night to celebrate that history.”
 
Make plans to attend this great evening of music.  Seating is first come, first serve and the event is family friendly.
