Nov. 14 Homeschool Day at the Science Mill The Science Mill’s monthly Homeschool Day focuses on careers in Earth Science! In hands-on activities, students examine fossils, play the Fossil Game and explore convection currents in a hands-on demo. Age-based Learning Labs include making soil layers with Legos, exploring earthquake vibrations with resonant rings and creating and testing an “earthquake-proof” structure.
