July 13 Incredible Insects! The Science Mill is buzzing with excitement about this day of hands-on activities and live demos! Meet Radford's Roach Show and their world-famous Madagascar hissing cockroaches from the Radford University Department of Biology. Stop by the museum’s Aquaponics Greenhouse to learn about beneficial bugs and how they help the life cycle of plants. Talk with the Science Mill’s staff biologist to learn about local insects, and see some of her personal collection! All Incredible Insects! activities are free with admission.
