The Texas Tribune will host a free, open-to-the-public event - A Conversation with Reps. Andrew Murr and Jason Isaac - at 11:30 a.m. on Mon., Nov. 14, at Schreiner University in Kerrville. Murr, R-Junction, has represented House District 53 since 2015. He serves on the House Transportation; Rules & Resolutions; and Culture, Recreation & Tourism committees, as well as on the Subcommittee on Long-Term Infrastructure Planning. Previously, Murr served as county judge and as the Kimble county attorney. Isaac, R-Dripping Springs, has represented House District 45 since 2011. He serves on the House Environmental Regulation; Local & Consent Calendars; and Economic & Small Business Development committees. He also serves as chairman of the Subcommittee on Small Business. Isaac is the founder of the Hill County Caucus in the House. The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A session. A boxed lunch will be provided.
