Event Description:
Works from the Permanent Collection exhibition showcases the art of equine artist Darol Dickinson in a collection of 34 portraits used in Mr. Dickinson's book "The Color of Horses". 
In addition, G. Harvey, famed for his concentration of art from western hills and prairies to the commerce of our great cities is on display. Mr. Harvey was raised in Kerrville and passed away in 2017.

The Museum also houses extensive collection of western memorabilia, a children's gallery, western research library and museum store. A covered pavilion and museum interior is available for rental for private events.
