TEXAS HILL COUNTRY OLIVE GROVE AND WINERY
Turtle Creek Olive Grove - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Source: Turtle Creek Olive Oil is produced, and bottled Frantoio Cantaloni Miranda located in the three-mountain region of Umbria, Italy near the Tuscan border. Less than 3% of the world’s olive oils are exported from this region of Italy. These olives are harvested at their optimal ripeness and then pressed within 48 hours to achieve the freshest and mildest flavor of extra virgin olive oil.
HISTORY: The Schulse Clan is eager to present its private label olive oil to anyone who appreciates sustainable farming and the wonderful, healthful products that result from an olive harvest. Our 160-acre family farm, established in 2016 in Kerrville, TX, is maturing its own olive orchard and vineyard. Until our own fruits are ready, we offer our favorite and family selected olive oil chosen during our travels to Umbria to learn for ourselves the best practices from the best growers. You may taste our blend at our tasting room located in downtown Kerrville at 211 Earl Garret in the historic building that once housed the Masonic Order and is a registered Texas landmark
100% Umbria - This 100% Italian Olive Oil is specially selected and imported by the Schulse family of Kerrville, Texas. The producing frantoio (oil mill) is in the ''three mountain'' region of Umbria near the Tuscan border. We invite you to taste the superior flavors of our olive oil produced from the Montegabbione, Monteleone and Montegiove region of Italy. Buon Appetito! Buona Salute!
