Brinkman Commercial Welcomes Kristan D. Weaver

Kerrville, TX — 11 September 2019

Brinkman Commercial Properties welcomes Kristan D. Weaver, former Vice-President of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, to their commercial real estate and development practice.  Bruce John Stracke, Broker and Owner notes, “Weaver’s long history working in Kerrville’s business community has prepared her to guide our clients to the hill country’s best opportunities.”
Weaver graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Rangeland Ecology and Management, with a focus on Agricultural and Environmental Policy, and a Master of Agriculture in Natural Resource Development. Weaver’s breadth of experience includes permitting, planning, budget management, policy development, leadership development, marketing, business development, and sales.  Her strengths center around consensus building and business advocacy. While at the Kerrville Area Chamber from 2007-2014, Weaver was a part of a team who grew the membership to its highest numbers ever and led the effort to attain the coveted 4-star accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In her role at the Chamber, Weaver championed the efforts to break ground on the Kerrville River Trail and served on the City's Sign Ordinance Committee.  She also chaired Kerrfest and continues to serve on the Hill Country District Junior Livestock Show Association Executive Board and the Hill Country Charity Ball Association Board.

The Kerrville and hill country hold a life-long, special place in Weaver’s heart as her roots run deep: she is proud to continue her family’s ranching heritage as the 4th generation to actively ranch in Edwards County. Her children, Catarina Jain and Cali Jewel, attend school in Harper, as did their great-great-grandfather.   It is good to be home, growing, building, and living again.
A desire to practice real estate has always beckoned to her. She has answered the call. “We have incredible opportunities to live, work, and play, in this beautiful jewel we call ‘home’…I am excited and honored to join Brinkman Commercial as we create quality opportunities for our clients and the greater business community.”
